Who is Boa??

26 February 2009 3 Comments

As you all may know from recent posts, Boa will be hosting a special listening party at Ritual Nightclub this Saturday, February 28th. I had no clue who Boa was until this past week. I had always heard about Boa through friends in the past but never really got into her music or who she was. When it comes down to Asian music I’m more into Chinese and boy singers such as Jay Chou, Wang Leehom and Wilber Pan.  I looked up Boa’s music videos to see what the hype was about. The first video that popped up was this one:

When I watched this video, I was impressed not only can Boa sing but she can dance! The choreography in this video was amazing and the song itself was pretty catchy. Even though she is a Korean Singer, the song was in English and she barely had an accent. I think she is really talented and I am definitely going to get her album when it comes out.

Here is an older song by Boa that I thought was good even though it was in Japanese and couldn’t understand it. I like slow songs and she has a really nice voice:

So get on the guestlist for Boa’s listening party at Ritual this Saturday!
