Last Saturday BoA appeared at Ritual.  It was a spectacular event that reached full capacity, which ended up with my face pinned against the glass as crowds of adoring fans pushed closer to take pictures.  Being a devoted BoA fan myself, I naturally hatched a master plan to “acquire” her in my Borat wedding sack so that I may have the opportunity to recite some sonnets that I had composed for her earlier in the day.  However my ingenious plan was thwarted by my evil arch-enemy, “The Scottiness” who being …

Kollaboration 9 is this Saturday, February 21st, at The Shrine Auditorium. Kollaboration is an annual talent show that showcases Asian Pacific Islander talent. This is the ninth year that the talent show has been produced and there’s a great line up.
The competitors this year are:

Fresh off the press…GO Productions LA Inc. has just recently been selected by BoA’s management company, SM Entertainment, to host the very FIRST OFFICIAL ALBUM RELEASE PARTY @ Ritual – Saturday February 28th, 2009. The party will be hosted by BoA herself. BoA will be introducing the songs, signing autographs and taking pictures with her adoring fans. Lately, it seems like a lot of the Korean artist have been trying to make their way and break into the American Music Industry/Market in the states.  A few months back, Korean-pop artist Seven tried to crack the market and even before that Rain (the suppose Korean-Usher) tried his hand in headlining a performance at the Staple Center.  That event was cancelled due to “technical difficulties – translation difficulty in selling tickets.”

Coming March of 2009, the Wonder Girls will be visiting LA and NY to perform.
