How is this group not more popular? These girls are flipping hot!

So admittedly I had yet to hear their music but who really cares about quality of sound these days? Apparently no one, as evidenced by the crap that’s blaring all over the radio.

Eventually I had to satisfy my curiosity and prove all you haters wrong (about them being talentless fakes just because they happen to be so good looking), so I checked out their myspace to hear a sample of some proffered tunes. (Had to pause Duran Duran’s Save a Prayer, but hopefully it would be worth it):

Ok, I’m no music critic, but something about the song “Lipstick’ at first glance is suspect; from the over produced robotic vocals to that keyboard synth arrangement uncannily reminiscent of a 80s song I can’t quite put my finger on…give me time, it’ll come to me! The video was fun to watch though. Kind of tongue-in-cheek cheesy, but nevertheless fun.

“Hello Drama”, on the other hand, I like immensely. It’s like a bubbly candy diluted derivative of STP’s “Sex Type Thing”. Yeah, I know.  It’s a stretch.

Actually, the more I listen to “Lipstick”, the more I like it. Then again, pseudo 80s electro pop is right up my alley and I’m also notorious for having the worst taste in music(seriously, Paris Hilton is on my ipod) so take this all with a grain of salt and judge for yourself!
