Life At Pinkberry
It’s Pearl! Scottie requested that I should write about my experience at Pinkberry®, so I figured this week would be a good week to do so because I have been doing corporate training all week. I have been working at Pinkberry® for over a year now and this is the second time I have to do corporate training. The training takes 3 days, and we actually spend one whole day talking about the company and store mottoes and inspirations. We spend another whole day learning how to work the register and greet people properly, and the last day we learn how to put together a perfect yogurt for our wonderful customers.
I think one of the most interesting things we learn within training is the mottoes we live by within each store. “S.W.I.R.L.” Smile, Welcome, Invite/Interact, Respect, and Lasting Impression, so if your Swirler (that’s what they call us) is not doing the S.W.I.R.L., they are not doing Pinkberry® right
And that was only one of many ideas that the company came up with to each us, there is also different mottoes revolving around ideas like values, vision, mission, and connection.

It is weird to think that Pinkberry® actually hires people to come up with mottoes like that to motivate, inspire, and direct their employees on how to think. Can you imagine if GO PRO hires someone just to come up with mottoes too o.O
*Sorry about the boring and generic picture. Maybe something more exciting when our store is more settled down.
