Let me first start off by saying that I am neither a Laker fan nor a Celtics fan.  I USED to be a Laker fan since I was a kid back in the Magic era but stopped rooting for them after Shaq left.  But yeah, I just finished watching Game 6.  Wow what an UGLY game.  I don’t think i’ve ever seen a team get blown out that bad.  And to think these are the two BEST teams in the NBA?  The Lakers gave up…period.  They were outcoached, outrebounded, outhustled, outshot, and basically PUNKED by the Celtics.  And it’s not even this game, it’s the whole SERIES.  The Lakers had consistently been outplayed since Game 1.  Where was Kobe?  Where was Lamar?  I highly doubt MJ would have let the Bulls squander a 24 point lead in the Finals.  Wouldn’t have happened.  Since i’m in a major hating mood let’s go down the roster:

Bench:
Farmar:  Actually played decent (probably cuz he’s UCLA schooled)  =)  Threw the ball away a couple times but hit some 3’s to make the game within 30 points.  hahaha.
Turiaf:  AWOL
Walton:  AWOL
Mihm:  What the hell was this guy doing in the game (last game).  This guy shouldn’t even be in the NBA. 
Ariza:  Played decent at times (probably cuz he was UCLA schooled) but nothing spectacular.
Vujacic:  The “machine” was HORRIBLE.  I mean…how many times can you MISS?  Like seriously.  Definitely NOT a clutch player.  Can only score points when the Lakes are comfortably ahead.  And his defense….my god.  How many times did Ray Allen rain bombs on you?  How many times did Allen and Pierce waltz right past you for a layup…and oh yah…how bout Powe going coast to coast and you letting him stroll right by for a dunk?  Learn to play some friggin defense Euro!

Starters:
Radmanovic – This guy should NOT be starting on ANY NBA team.  The most one dimensional player on the team.  If this guy is not hitting his 3’s then he is absolutely USELESS.  Paul Pierce USED Radman over and over like a cheap hooker.  Play some friggin defense EURO!  Lakers need to trade this guy for a 2nd round pick ASAP.
Fisher – Fish is old.  What else can i say.  He’d be a good backup but his starter days are over. 
Gasol – Another softy on defense.  Has good offensive skills but rebounding and TOUGHNESS needs definite work.  KG punked his ass tonight. 
Odom – I love this guy.  Graceful on the court and played so well up until the Finals.  But damn….he friggin DISAPPEARED most of this series.  Played like a PANSY.  Where the heck were you?  He got mad at KG tonight cuz KG did a hard foul on him with the Celts holding a 30 point lead.  Damn Lamar…when you give up and play like a pansy, you get punked like a pansy…deal with it!
Kobe – So I guess we can put those Kobe to MJ comparisons to rest.  Yes the Celts played GREAT defense on Kobe but geezus….he shot HORRIBLY.  And his leadership skills SUCKED.  You could see him sulking and bitching at his teammates the whole series.  Definitely not his best moment.  Like i’ve always said, Kobe is a great player, but his attitude SUCKS.  LBJ baby.  Witness!  hahahaha.  

The Celts REALLY impressed me.  I had written them off at the start of the series but damn…they REALLY impressed me.  Great team ball and great hard nosed defense.  It was fun to watch them.  I’m glad KG, Ray Ray, and Pierce finally got their rings…..the deserved it with the great play they had.  And their supporting cast…wow.  Rondo, Perkins, Powe, Brown, House, and POSEY!  That Posey dude is the MAN.  What a great pickup for the Celts. 

Anyway cheers to the Celtics and best wishes to the Lakers next year as they gear up for another run at the Finals (with Bynum and hopefully minus Radmonovic)
