Frozen Yogurt Craze

11 March 2009 7 Comments

After the success of Pinkberry I’ve noticed that a lot of new frozen yogurt stands such as Red Mango, Yogurt Land, and Fruitti Yogo have been popping up trying to get into the competition. Yesterday was my first time trying Yogurt Land and I was hooked. I had 4 different flavors- strawberry, mango, strawberry banana, and green tea with 3 toppings- strawberries, mochi, and gummy bears. It was yummy and even though I was sick and ended up coughing the rest of the night it was totally worth it.

So being a new frozen yogurt fan and only trying a few spots such as pinkberry, yogurtland, and fruitti yogo I need some suggestions. Whats a good place to go to that has good frozen yogurt?

I never understood the craze. It’s just yogurt with toppings. What’s so special about that?

Yogurt is good for you, it taste delirious, and it is nonfat, so there is less guilt eating yogurt than let’s say…ice cream or cake :)
I would say stick to Pinkberry because Pinkberry is the best! Yogurtland is too water down, but I go sometimes because of all the option :/ Red Mango is too creamy for my taste. Le Cefiore is pretty good and it’s worth trying. Cherry on Top is not good at all, but the store themselves are pretty cool. I have tried some other ones, but I can’t even recall the name of the store, so they were probably not that good. Yep, Pinkberry ftw!
