So it’s the end of Day 6 of the Olympics and it’s been GREAT!  I loooooove watching everything.  This goes back to the 1984 Olympics in LA where I saved every Olympics section of the newspaper for the whole 2 weeks.  Anybody remember Sam the Olympic Eagle (or is it just us old folks)?  hahaha. 

 
Anyway, I’ve been staying up till 4 in the morning every day watching just the most random shiet.  Brazil vs Lithuania handball anybody?  Here’s my random thoughts from the first 6 days:

I was watching George Bush being interviewed by Bob Costas on the current military situation between Georgia and Russia. It reminded me of all the bloopers he’s had within his term as president. Not much of a public speaker in my humble opinion nor does he have same commanding swagger and presence as Obama. Remind me how this guy got elected and re-elected???? Reality check…our country is failing…recession, bailing out banks, housing crisis, unemployment, trade deficit, weak dollar, gas prices,…but other than that…its GREAT!
