A couple weeks ago, C and I decided to try out Ethiopian food.  Yah Ethiopian food…now there’s an oxymoron right? I’m imagining walking into this dingy restaurant where they serve you like a grain of rice for dinner.  hahaha.  Ok that was mean.  Anyway, one Sunday, we headed off to Fairfax Ave where Little Ethiopia is situated.  I have no idea if Ethiopians do in fact live in the area but I guess they call it that since there are a lot of Ethiopian restaurants that line the block.

So for the past week while driving to the office, I’ve noticed this HUGE banner on the LA Convention Center advertising the 2008 Anime Expo.  This grand event was held this past weekend and brought out 43,000 of the biggest geeks around.  I do know this though.  If at some time we ever want to get rid of all the geeks in the USA, the government should just throw a huge Anime convention….and BOOM, there you go.  hahaha.  I mean seriously..it’s not even Halloween and people are dressing like this:

I’m a big NBA fan. There are a couple of PG’s in the game that I love and respect. Steve Nash is one of them. It’s amazing how this player use to ride the bench but never gave up in becoming what he is today. A portion of his success can be attributed to his footwork from soccer. Nash is also really big on charities…so he and Nike as well as some superstars put together a charity soccer game. Interesting note, I believe Baron Davis is sporting my friends clothing company …
