Monday night we all headed out to Kushi Shabu in Little Tokyo to celebrate Vork’s birthday.  I was highly anticipating this meal because a) i LOVE shabu shabu b) the place is ALL YOU CAN EAT and c) i’ve been meaning to try this place many times but had not got around to it.  Anyway, so we head in to our own private room and started ordering.

The Beijing Olympics is only a few months away and as expected Nike’s conglomerate marketing machine is everywhere. In an attempt to rally China’s competitive spirit, Nike projected massive images of popular Chinese athletes competing in the 2008 games on the CCTV building.
