Whaddup GO Pro peeps.  I guess the ROCK has already posted his weekend recap and mine is sort of the same.  hahaha. 

Thursday Jina and Mon (aka Ron) invited me out to Cabo Cantina for Happy Hour.  Scottie called me that afternoon so I invited him along.  He then called me later and asked if Vork could come too which was cool.  Well we all show up and it’s like 6 dudes and 2 chicks (cuz Vork invited more peeps).  Now i’m not no stickler with my homies, but y’all gotta bring chicks too and even out this ratio.  Also, as Scottie had mentioned, the bill came and it was on J’s card.  This reminds me of back in the days at Prive when I used to collect money UP FRONT at the beginning of the night.  I found out that if you don’t, peeps order a shietload of alcohol and then fail to pay up (which is exactly what happened on this night).  I basically blew up and got pretty pissed.  hahahaa.  All good though…these are all my bros so we all squabble and shit like little bitches. 

Friday was CABANA CLUB.  It was my little brother Keith’s birthday so we popped the obligatory champagne at our table.  Lot of good looking girls in the house.  Plus I heard some very interesting stories of “parking lot pimpin” aka PLP after the club.  Ah…I wish i was young and reckless still.  hahaha.  For some reason it was friggin COLD that night.  Good thing they have ample heaters on the patio.  The patio tents come down in a couple weeks…then the club is gonna be BANGIN.  Gearing up for SUMMER 08!  Can’t really think of anything TOO crazy that happened that night except all the hot bodied chicks giving my brother a lap dance right by the pool.  Best night of his life.  hahaha. 

Saturday we were figuring out what we should do for the night’s activities.  There was LAX in Hollywood, J Lounge in Downtown, or Orchid and Le Cercle in Koreatown.  We were al set for Orchid and then J Lounge till one of my promoters sent me the BIG BANG video “Last Farewell”.  I put that video on and was friggin amazed.  First off they shot the video at Club Circle in Seoul where me and the boys partied at this past summer.  That club is BANANAS.  Hot ladies and the bar rotates.  Crazy!  Yah so basically this video got me hyped to go K Clubbing.  Off to CERCLE we go!  hahaha.  Check out the video on the ”video of the week” on the GO site.  The beginning is slow but damn the chick in it is HOT HOT HOT.  Korean girls….my weakness. 

So anyway, me, Vork, Scottie, and Sheldon get a booth there and maaaaaannnnnn….hot girls all over.  Ended up seeing John from Whisper, Nancy from Friction, and Heather from Visionshock there as well so it was good times for all.  Oh yah and Amy broke a bottle at our table and almost stabbed me.  Just kidding about the stabbing part but she DID break the bottle.  hahaha.  Got our drink on, booked some ladies, and partied pretty hard.  So John and I have a discussion on if the Crown at the K Clubs is watered down.  I think not.  Who the hell would go through the trouble of watering down a $15 bottle of Crown?  I think I gotta ask Romeo about this one. 

Stopped by Hodori after to sober up.  This chick pissed me off (what’s new) so we jetted off to Norm’s in West LA.  Mind you this was after Shien and Scott Chung had ordered food already at Hodori and left the chicks with the bill.  puahahahaha.  Classic.  That’s what they get for being stuck up beeyotches.  Actually only one of them was.  hahaha.  So yah, Norm’s is a COMPLETE FREAK FEST after 2am on Saturdays.  All the Rocky Horror Picture Show peeps eat there after and you get the craziest peeps in there.  We always get our favorite waiter Seth.  Make sure you ask for him if you are ever eating there late nights.  He is the NICEST guy ever.  Maybe not the smartest since he picked the Celtics to win the NBA title.  That’s just plain dumb to me.  puahahaha. 

Woke up at 2pm on Sunday and basically slothed around till 7 and then played poker at John’s place.  They were celebratin FO TWENTY there.  tee hee.  Not me!  I’m straight and narrow like that.  Werd!        

What up people! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I had a pretty tired week in general I must say. Started my outing on a Wednesday night @ Blue Velvet, Thursday night @ Cabo Cantina (West Los Angeles), Friday night @ Cabana Club, and Saturday @ Le Cercle (Korean SUPER club).

Wednesday – I just went to meet up and grab some drinks with a friend at Blue Velvet. Nice cool lounge spot.  It’s probably one of the more popular lounges in downtown Los Angeles. Supposedly the materials used for the entire place were recyclables. The washroom is pretty cool since its UNI-Sex. Hello, can you imagine all the drunken debauchery that must go on especially at an Asian party. Actually, the vomiting that goes on at an Asian party! Awesome! If you haven’t been there its worth checking out. Wednesday night was like some house techno night but overall a very chill atmosphere.

Thursday – Met up with the old UCLA crew and headed out to Cabo Cantina. Met some pretty cool peeps. I had a great time with the only exception of its one of those “everyone orders drinks at the table but don’t cough up money night.” You would think that shit sort of stops after college when everyone is making a decent living. Guess what?! Heck no! The funny shit was I noticed a shitload of margaritas that kept coming to the table…and in the back of mine mind…I was thinking wait until the bill comes. I guess its human nature for everyone to take advantage out of the good of the common group. Hence, I think this planet is FUCKED. I feel bad for my kids but oh well.

Friday – CABANA CLUB baby! Another popping night…and I’m not being bias…granted wasn’t as crowded as the previous week but the ratio was slightly better in my opinion. Or at least at my table the ratio was a lot better. HAHAHA. We did our birthday celebration.  Happy birthday shout-out to Keith Saka and Christina Thatch. Needless to say, the party at our table was rocking. I did my best interpretation of Diddy on seats holding his champagne bottle. If you haven’t done it…you got to try it out regardless of how idiotic you think you’ll look, its actually pretty liberating. Unfortunately, I need to upgrade my bottle to crystal or I mean CRSTYLE. I also overheard some crazy sex stories from some of my promoters…man, the kids these days definitely live the Go Pro attitude to the fullest too bad they won’t playing Usher’s SEX in the CLUB. It would have been very appropriate. =)

Saturday – Korean clubbing. This is where we honed our skills as promoters. If you haven’t tried booking, its a pretty interesting experience. You got to do it at least once in your life. This would never fly in an American club. Nothing like the DJ transitioning from 50 cent to BIG BANG…(these guys rock…been pumping Last Farewell) all day! If you need a waiter. I highly recommend Romeo. He’s been our waiter since the Le Prive days…the golden era of Korean clubbing everyone and anyone were there on any given Saturday! Till next time peace out and rock on!

Hi everyone.  It’s your boy Scottie Rock. I hope everyone enjoyed this nice warm weekend! As usual Cabana Club was rocking again. Thanks to everyone for always coming out and showing love to the Go Productions family. Cabana is the undisputed destination spot for Hollywood partying with its massive outdoor patio!  It has to be one of the biggest if not THE biggest patio in Los Angeles partying scene. Anyway, after all these years of partying you would think you would be able to figure everyone out. Mind you I’ve been partying a lot more than the average Asian guy…not sure if that’s good or not. I guess trying to make up for lost time when I missed out on past Asian partying scenes such heydays as Vanguard, Garden of Eden, IVAR, and etc. Back to my so called DEEP THOUGHTS…you don’t really realize how much drama people go through. I use to think most of the Asian girls I meet…are pretty straight forward no drama and etc…boy, it seems that they all have been fucked over sometime or another but some dumb-shit guy. My first question, is why did u date this dumbshit in the first place. Come on, fellow Asian partiers…you know exactly what I mean. You meet a cute girl at the club and u meet her man…a real LOSER…makes you wonder…and how it reflects on the intelligence of the girl…right? Mind boggling. I think thats one of my hypothesis why there will always be more guys at the Hollywood nightclubs…poor club ratio…because guys are just being guys…and out of that probablity they’re going to meet some chick thats out of their league. Believe me…i see the usual suspects…amazing! However, it seems like girls are catching up in playing the game as well. It’s almost as if you need to participate or get screwed over…what sucks is if you do meet someone nice…u end up fucking them over. Imagine all the drama involved in the Hollywood scene…especially the Asian scene…where our community is a lot more closely knit. Sometimes I laugh…thinking if I really press the issue with a girl…i would probably know someone she slept with in her past.  Makes you not want to ask her. HAHAHAHHA! However, you know its in the back of your mind…I think thats why some my buddies don’t like to BED and TELL. They might end up being the butt of a joke. Hey folks. J SAKA here givin ya a recap of this past Friday’s madness at Cabana Club. I actually showed up early this time (it’s a wonder what free alcohol does for my timeliness). Met up around 9:20 with the rest of the crew and had a couple shots of FREE Effen Vodka since we had open bar till 10:30. The Triumvir Clothing peeps also showed up early to set up their booth and also make the pool look really cool with floatie candles. Yay yuhhh! My job for the night was to do guestlist. Everybody for the most part had a good attitude. A lot of people came out decked in their Triumvir gear so that was pretty cool. Went inside at midnight and the joint was PACKED. Another 1,200+ partiers fo sho. We been hitting at least 1,200 for the past 4 weeks now so looks like things are clicking on all cylinders.

Popped some bottles at our usual spot and started drinking….heavily. hahaha. Was sufficiently toasty by 12:30. I was standing on the little gogo platform (actually it’s just a raised brick area and yes..i’m an attention whore) when i felt ice being thrown at me. Apparently Becca and Bernice found it entertaining to be pelting me with ice chunks. Allen came by and began yelling at me, “did you throw ice at me??” Then he pushed me. I said “noooo dude it wasn’t me”. Then he pushed me again. I got pissed so i threatened to pour my drink on his head if he pushed me again. So my bro comes up to him and says “it was those girls over there” (pointing to Becca and Bernice). So Allen being the GIRL that he is goes and picks up the ice bucket and throws it at them. hahahahaha. Like seriously, what MALE would ever do that? I was shocked but laughed. hahahaha. Rest of the night was a blur. Dang it was HOT that night. Weather is definitely getting better and i’m lovin it! Can’t wait for next weekend. Hah!

Well, I’ll be honest… Most of it is pretty mundane everyday life activites, such as working hard to make a living in ultra-expensive LA or slaving away at the books so we can graduate w/honors and then move on to slaving away at a corporate job…

However, every once in a while, there are also good stories to be shared among friends of nights that never seem to end (in a good way) or nights that really don’t end because they carry on into the next day (I’ve had some of those recently).
